GT-HK101 Point-Type Combustible Gas Detector Installation and Operation Manual
1. Precautions
- Read and understand this manual thoroughly before installation, commissioning, or operation.
- Never open the detector’s cover while powered on in environments with combustible gases/vapors. Use a portable gas detector to verify safety. Perform regular calibration and maintenance.
- Regularly inspect and clean the detector’s air inlet to prevent blockages that may cause inaccuracies.
- Do not test the detector with pure gases or high-concentration gases, as this may cause sensor carbon deposition, inaccuracies, reduced lifespan, or permanent damage.
- Ensure proper grounding to prevent RF interference. Use the designated grounding point. Handle sensors with care due to potential corrosive solutions inside.
- Avoid exposing sensors to temperatures beyond specified ranges or immersing them in organic solvents/flammable liquids.
- Use explosion-proof certified cable glands matching the detector’s protection class (ExdII CT6).
2. Product Overview
- Features a rugged explosion-proof aluminum housing with two M20×1.5 ports. Designed for industrial/commercial gas detection and alarm systems.
- Uses LBUS 4-wire communication for real-time data transmission (concentration, faults, alarms). Includes relay outputs and built-in audible/visual alarms.
- Equipped with imported high-precision catalytic combustion sensor with intelligent high-concentration protection.
- Modular sensor unit allows field replacement without recalibration.
3. Compliance Standards
- GB15322.1-2019: Combustible Gas Detectors Part 1: Point-Type Detectors for Industrial and Commercial Use
- GB3836.1-2010: Explosive Atmospheres – Part 1: General Requirements
- GB3836.2-2010: Explosive Atmospheres – Part 2: Flameproof Enclosure “d”
